Kick-off Meeting for GINA Project Held at Gdańsk University of Technology

The kick-off meeting for the GINA project on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) was successfully held from October 21st to 23rd, 2024, at Gdańsk University of Technology in Poland. The event brought together project teams from partner institutions to integrate their efforts and align on key objectives for the upcoming stages of the project.

The primary focus of the meeting was to establish a shared approach to working on the project’s phases, starting with the development of a working outline and course scope. Discussions were held to define the content of the course, agree on a common naming convention, and set the foundations for future collaboration.

As a result of the meeting, key materials were uploaded to the MS Teams project platform, which will serve as a central hub for ongoing communication and resource sharing among all partners.

In addition to project discussions, the meeting included three teacher training sessions aimed at introducing participants to innovative teaching methodologies. These sessions covered topics such as creating video materials for learning and developing resources for Moodle-based platforms, equipping educators with the necessary tools to effectively deliver the blended-learning course on NBS.

The meeting marked a significant step in ensuring a successful start to the project, paving the way for further collaborative efforts toward the development of cutting-edge educational materials in the field of nature-based urban solutions.
