Video Creation Training
As part of the kick-off meeting for GINA project, a practical video creation introduction was conducted, led by Annette Moerman, Rotterdam University of Applied Science, an expert in digital multimedia content. The training focused on the key principles of creating short videos to illustrate course content effectively.
Annette Moerman walked participants through the essential components of a video, outlining the key steps involved in planning and producing high-quality educational videos. She highlighted how to define the purpose of the video, identify the key messages, and structure the content in a way that engages the audience.
Additionally, she introduced free video editing software that can be used to enhance video content and make the production process more accessible. The training also included practical tips on common mistakes to avoid, ensuring that videos meet technical standards and are visually clear and professional.
The session was designed to equip educators with the skills and knowledge needed to produce engaging, visually appealing videos that can support the blended-learning course on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). By creating effective video content, instructors will be able to enhance the learning experience and help students grasp complex concepts more easily.
This video training was an important part of preparing the project team for the next stages of course development and ensuring that the digital resources provided are of the highest quality.
